Community Involvement
A decade ago, a group of our vacation homeowners got together to raise money for the support and training of a guide dog for the blind. Their efforts inspired us to develop a philosophy of "looking after people, animals and the environment, locally and globally."
Volunteering changes lives; the lives of those our efforts touch and our own for making the effort. Many of our volunteers make a gift of their time here at Sun-N-Fun, sharing their talents in everything from teaching kids to swim to leading yoga classes.
Others work outside the resort at local shelters caring for animals, helping Habitat for Humanity build homes, caring for the environment in the Coastal Clean-up program or looking after the safety of children through the 9-1-1 Open House. Their work has helped Sun-N-Fun be more a part of Sarasota, and Sarasota more a part of Sun-N-Fun.

Global
Our volunteer teams participate in Relay for Life and Making Strides to help in the fight against cancer. They work to build stronger families through organizations like Hearts Without Borders and Women Helping Women, and aid in bringing relief to those affected by disaster through Haiti Relief and Shelter Box.
Local
Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, the Humane Society and Greyhound Rescue are among those local organizations and charities our resident and team volunteers have worked with, or for whom we've held events, in the hope of making a difference in the lives of our neighbors.
Environmental
All of us lucky enough to enjoy the beauty of the 177-acres that make up Sun-N-Fun realize our responsibility to the environment. We respond by holding Earth Day celebrations, participating in coastal clean-ups that keeps our local beaches pristine and remodeling our own recycling center.
